Above, after RWS Sprayshop had finished, using the exact paint codes used on the 1967 Porsche 917 that won at Le Mans.

Below, Primed and ready for a re-paint !

An early 1966 MG Midget 1275cc, this car was taken of the road nearly 20 years ago and has been racing ever since. Its is a well known car in the MGOC as it has won the overall title twice, with two diffrent drivers. I aquired the car for the 2008 season, my first race was the ' PLUM PUDDING' meeting at Mallory Park. I won both races in class, beating several much bigger, more powerful cars such as Nissan 350z's, BMW M3's etc. I realised from the begining that this car was special and could handle being thrown into corners at crazy speeds!. From the startof the 2007 season at Pembrey I won both races and went on that season to have battles with Jim ' Basher' Baynam in his famous MGB Roadster, I won seven races that year and went on to take the class A cup. The last race of 2008 I did a one off with the MG Midget Challeng at Mallory Park. I was suprised to get pole & a win, my car was nearly 100kg over weight!  Onto 2009 and I decided to run in the MGM Challenge, the car was taken to Peter May Engineering, he's the main man when racing midgets is your game. No expenc was spared and then a trip to godd old Perter Baldwin's rolling road, 120bhp !! What an engine Peter had made for me..... 2009 saw me win every race i started....up to now I have not been beated for 15 consecutive races !! The best race of 2009 was with Jim Baynham at Croft, the car was in bits at the end , but we came across the line just 0.013sec divideing us !!

So here to 2010, hoping to go all the way and capture the overall title.....we'll see........
